How much should a mono cost then?

They can be inexpensive but good WC can go as high as $40-$80. CB around $20. Most LFS mono or ocell are bought from Segrest and are Farmies.

what kinda food do you feed them ? maybe you could try some type of color enhancing food or maybe a back ground ( dark one ) could help? i noticed right away how the black color on my little guys darkened right up after just recently put a black background up. and the gold spots also became much more intense even the greens became nicer . might be worth a try.
