I am cycling a 40 gallon tank at the moment and have set it up with a lot of hiding places. I want to get chiclids but do not know what type or number to get. Anyone have any ideas for me. I am still a few weeks from purchases but would like as much info as I can get.

Thanks

This is a picture of my setup. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

please take the fake plants out, it will be nicer with out it...

I like the fake plants, that tank looks good for a julie/shelldweller tank, perhaps brevis

P. Saulosi would be great in that tank. A colony of 2m 6-8fm would look good. I kind of agree with taking the fake plants out lol
