Those missing pics are from the very first mod I made and the ones following are the permanent mods, and still funtioning just fine.
In these pics you can see the bio-wheels, spray-bars, prefiltered powerhead supplying spray-bars and some of the plumbing.
The only thing not shown is the UV sterilizer which is in-line between the PH/spray-bars.

I give ChileRelleno props for being creative but I think REC advice to buying an Emperor is more practical. Does the job, save money, save time, and no worry of screwing something up.
I just don't have the time to take on a project.
If it were me I would've got the Marineland Pro 60 Bio Wheels and hook it up to a powerhead. Work just as effective.

Thats exactly what i said but to me it would be far cheaper to go with the emp400 anyways hob filters are just back-up filters anyways or for small tanks.

Emperors are awesome if you like the running water noise and you like those carbon cartridges. AC's are awesome if you like a lot of biomedia and you like to choose something other than worthless carbon. You should be banned.
