I had one a while back in a 29 gal with some tiger barbs, cherry barbs, and a red tail shark. The CAE and the RTS were introduced at the same time and both were about 2in. When they got up to 4-5 in the CAE would constantly bully the RTS attacking him almost every time the RTS would come out of hiding. We ended up havng to remove the RTS to a safer tank. However he never bothered any of the barbs. I think the RTS was just too similar in body shape.
