It looks like a panda garra instead just without its bands. what about the rest of the tank mates?

The tubercles are normal for a mature fish. The thing that interests me are the spots between those tubercles and his eyes. They almost look like hole in the head.

Since you just got him I wouldn't worry about it too much, if you are doing proper water management, it may just go away. Keep an eye on it and if it does not improve seek treatment options.

Other than that, great fish!
