Chinese High fin banded shark

I also agree they need temps much the same as goldfish. They come from all over China, and most of their range is not tropical.
And as they grow they tend to lose the banded coloration, and are similar to the common carp when mature.
 
They do great in San Diego koi ponds. Never seen them eat pellets except for constant grazing of algae.
 
they look cool, might try them one day...
