Ok. #5 Says Qing Cai. If i recalll its called Chinese Celery in american markets.... It looks similar to Shanghai bakchoi. as for the rest the handwriting is atrocious.
In numbers 3 4 5 7 8 The characters means Cai. meaning Vegetable. Each of them are simple vegetables commonly found in Asian Back yard Gardens...
#8 should be Xiang Cai. meaning fresh(frangrant) vegetable. I think the american translation is celantro.
I'd be vary for #7 though... Because in the Parenthesis, it resembles the word Poison... zhen. Uh.... But im hoping its not? i dont think he would give you poisionous plants. but just to be sure look up the word poison (zhen4) the picture seems a little unclear. If it resembles the word ... dont eat it.. lmfao
Ah btw dont listen to the guy who said #1 is brussel sprouts. Its not. And im positive because the last 2 letters on the opt of the package Says Zha Cai. Its a type of pickled vegetable. Mostly Pickled Mustard plant. Look it up. Zha Cai is a pressed Mustard plant... I eat it alot in the morning with congee for breakfast... I do not see how it looks like brussel sprouts.
#2 from the 3 large characters near the picture it says Huang Lai Cai. Lai is a type of weed... So its a type of plant that is a weed like vegetables like chives. Huang means yellow. Cai means vegetable. But I think its just a variant of Bakchoi...
Oh and back to #1. The first 2 characters says Te Da. Te Da means especially big. Or specially Large Mustard Plant. Sorry for the other plants.. cant really decipher bad handwriting... and Sorry for all the comments!
