Chingmix

i use chingmix as my color enhancer and only feed my fhs a mix of the headbooster and maxima once a day every other day
try to mix it up with your feedings and have a veggie based pellet as well

im still trying to get mine to eat chingmix for 3 weeks now, he'll eat one or two and spit out the rest, KOK shrunk a bit but colors a little better. Now even rejecting GS Red. Any suggestions?

starve him for a couple of days... that always seem to work.

I am telling you man, they know it's poison food for them or something. My Fhs usually take ANY pellets within a day or two of starving, except Chingmix.

well at first mine didnt take it but i through it in there anyway and never fed them the whole day, once the biggest fry took one the rest followed. and how its eating no problem, i just give it to them as a snack.

no good. tried now for 3 weeks. i gave up as it keeps stealing raw shrimp from bichirs, and it hates eatin raw shrimp. only feeding bloodworms and freeze dried krill

hmm yeah i usually starve my fh for a day before introducing chingmix to it
one time it took as long as a 2 weeks for it to start eating it
but they all eat it and seem to love it now..
it works.. but as jp stated, that might be because i have not seen their "full potential" yet so any gain is a "good gain"

i've been using chingmix for quite awhile. my flowerhorn has a decent size nuchal. but then again, i also feed it to my male midas, and it doesn't have a hump. my lfs feeds them to there flowerhorns and they swear it works, there FH have huge humps. so i'd have to agree that it helps out if the potential is there.
