thanks guys. yeah, i think chemical water treatment is the best solution for my system as of now. i might invest in an R/O thingee in the future when I get more particular and knowledgable. i've only been fishkeeping for three months as of now so at times i feel like I am a bit in over my head. but stess is pain and pain is only temporary.
