hey guys this may sound like a stupid question but i dont know much about acrylic. the only thing i like about them is they are light haha they scratch to easy. but anywho i picked up a used one and im about to fill it up all the way to clean it. i dont plan on adding any dechlor because i may end up draining the water anyway. would the tap water chlorine hurt the tank? or do i have to add dechlor?

As long as you don't put fish in it :P

Nope, the tank will be fine :)

One thing to note about cleaning the outside is don't use ammonia based cleaners they will cloud the acrylic over time if I remember correctly.

yeah i read that you can only use water or an acrylic cleaner made for the tanks. but im a little worried about the bowing. the front and back panel bow about an inch at most. i read that this is normal. in fact i read its good because it takes stress off the seams. the tank is 60 inches long btw

just clean it with water and love.
