Sigh.. do what you want.
i am just trying to see why you think it is so horrible that i might cut him in half when loads of people cut up corals everyday whats the difference corals are just as alive as starfish

Just because a starfish can grow PART of itself back, like an arm or two, doesn't mean you should cut it in half.

There is a huge difference between corals and a starfish

Coral is made up of many tiny organisms. So cutting it is basically just separating them. Cutting a SINGLE organism IN HALF is a HUGE difference.

ok i wont cut him in half since i huess it not possible that he will grow back ! thats all i wanted to know not start a big stink!

the middle holds alot of the starfish' organs and if you cut them in half you would be dividing organs lol organs dont regenerate.save yourself a starfish do an arm.

Chocochip starfish are not AT ALL reef safe. They love eating corals! Mine ate entire bubbletip anemones.
