3 weeks to show growth? u have your centimeter stick pulled out or what? fish live for years, it could be more than 3 weeks before any significant growth happens. Unless ofcourse you use miracle grow. If you dump a thing of miracle grow in your tank im sure you'll see the growth your looking for.

How bout those pics? And yeah three weeks is kinda dumb. I guess maybe Im just different, when I buy a fish I usually try to keep it.

well, i have had them since april. around the same time i picked up 4 turquoise heros. the heros have doubled in size. and juist so we are clear, i wouldnt get rid of them that quickly. im just anxiuos to see them grow. I have wanted these fish for a while. i will post pics tonite!!!

if i was you i would get a bigger tank for them and they will grow faster, better and be stunniong chocolate cichlids, if youy ask me their like a miny oscar in my opinion but not as aggressive

agreed i saved one from a pet store when it was a little 1 incher and now its about 10 cm long and nice and buff but it has one eye
so i got it for free, still quiye a nice fish in my opinion

ok, when will i know if they are stunted? i was told by the lfs clerk that they had these chocos in display size tank....20 gallons for over 7 months. you would figure....at least i do...that they would have grown some right? so the question stands. when, in your guys opinion, will i know for sure that they are or are not stunted?
