Chocolate cichlid doesn't like it's food anymore...

We dont want sick babies! Can anyone tell sex on these? I'm not good at it. Count chocola always displays this pattern and coloration during a water change. :D

Haven't used it for years but I used to get that on occasion with Hikari, some fish would just turn off to it after a while. On the other hand, don't know about chocolates, but as mentioned some larger fish will slow down eating once they reach a certain size and age.

Also agree with water quality being a possibility, your water certainly looks great, but if nitrates bumped up more than usual and more than they're used to, maybe that's a factor. My nitrates are low and everything else is spot on-- even at that, a big water change seems to make my fish hungry, even with my silty well water that my filters have to clear up after water changes. :)
