Chocolate cichlid gill issue

The parameters are ok. Tank is a little crowded. The eye may just be from the way it's looking. I just looked at my chocolates and when it looked down at me I swa the eye from the top did look like yours. As far as treatment goes treat the whole tank with Nitrofurazone (API Furan 2). Do a large 50% water change remove any carbon if you use it and treat as per instructions on the package. This should get it. If you don't see an improvement in a few days re-post and we'll attack from another direction.

I don't know if it is available, that's whay I gave you the name of the drug and the trade name. Check with your LFS and ask, they should have it even if it's sold under another trade name Nitrofurazone is what you want. It's bacterial not fungal.
