Nice pickup. Glad you were able to get it and give it a better life. Cant wait to see when it is fully heald. I suprised that the wanted to hold him before selling. Most store wouldn't even consider taking the time.

I've got a 6" chocolate and he is an AWESOME fish. They really do have GREAT personalities. One of my fav cichlids.

Man I bet it was in horrible conditions before you got it. It looks like it has some ammonia burn on its side. It looks really happy though. GL

I love mine. He/she/it is only about an inch, but he's taken to living in a mayan ziggaraut in my 29 gallon tank. It's hilarrious because he'll come charging out when it's feeding time but other than that he hangs out in the tiny opening.
