Chocolate Cichlid

I also have a polleni cichlid(5inch) in the tank with him, who sometimes chase after him. Could it possibly be stress?

2 cichlids in a tank is a bad number, the subdominant one generally gets bullied too much, I have found. 3-4+ allows the aggression to be distributed a bit so that the little guy isn't getting 100% of the bully's attention. I would add a couple more appropriately sized cichlids.

Sometimes that doesn't even work, you just get that one fish that picks on everyone.

I got 3 Chocolates from jeff Rapps last week. They change color every two seconds. Not showing adult colors yet. Mine are 3-4"

Well I had a t bar before he pass away but still then he was getting bullied(chocolate cichlid) by either the polleni or t-bar (3inch)... should I be consider if I add more fish to the 150gallon with chocolate cichlid and polleni??? Possibly thinking of add jack Dempsey, GT, Oscar..... your thoughts??.....

Mine did that, never knew what it actually looked like as it always was different
