What do you mean the giraffe cat didn't approve? I'm smiling imagining the cat nodding it's head from side to side at you, ha ha.

Ha, he kinda does do that motion.. Basically, When the lights go out, the woodwork looks different when they come on. Plants get torn up, and rocks get slammed against the glass.. He's a crazy sifter, and nothing stands in his way!

Nice! Do you know if your Chocolate is a male or female? I have 3 at that size, one that I think is a female looks just like yours. The largest which I think is male, and the smallest one have different head profiles.

Thanks. Chocolate is a male. Had him with a female a while back for about 6 months, and they just didn't want to do their thing; She was actually quite the b!tch.. Having the 2 side by side, I noticed the males tail was more round, head had the bulge, beefier/thicker, and the bottom fins on the female had some great trailers. I have a thread on here somewhere with them..

Thanks. I prefer the powerglo bulbs on the dark substrate; dark, but brings out the colors more.

I am so glad you ended up keeping him! I kept thinking about him over the last couple weeks. He looks awesome in there. I have one big rock, and a big piece of drift wood in our giraffes tank. The driftwood is somewhat suspended so its more of a cave for the fronts. Yaaay. Great pics!

You gotz some good taste bro. Love the abalios, daemon and ararichthys especially. So you really think the dark substrate and brings out color better? I can't argue with great pics, that's for sure... Making me think twice on the white sand for the next tank.
