chocolate zebra pleco what to feed it ???

Most limnivores will not touch higher plants; at least those still fresh and living. You generally won't have to worry about them eating your plants, though you can never be too sure.

The large common may cause problems, but probably not. Try it out for a few days and see how goes. The main concern I'd have would be food competition,as a large pterygoplichthys will always get to the food first.

HEY GUYS I GOT SOME ?'S FOR YEAH I JUST GOT A FIRE EEL CAN YOU GIVE ME ANY INFO ???? I GOT HIM SOME BLOOD WORMS AND BRINE SHRIMP HES ABOUT 9" LONG AND IS BEAUTIFUL. THANKS FOR THE HELP :) I AM OFF TO DO SOME MORE RESEARCH

ok well i have another question now lol so can my common and other pleco enjoy a sandy bottom in the tank so my eel will be happy to or should i just go with small gravel ???

sand is fine. You may or maynot have problems with the plecos going for the eels slime coat however...

really i did not know that plecos like slim coat. ok i put stress coat in the water which is suppose to help with slim coat does this mean anything for the plecos and can i do anything to stop it. as for right know the pleco and the eel are getting along well but we have only had the fire eel for three days so i am sure as the time goes by we will see more interaction.as for the sand we decided to go with tiny tiny natural black gravel.

IS A ALBINO SAILFIN L083 A HARD TO FIND FISH ??? AND DOES ANYONE HERE HAVE ONE ??? I WOULD LOVE TO SEE PICS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you go to the albino and other colour mutation thread sticky in the photo lounge, there is one on the first page. They are very impressive at that age, and no they should not be hard to find as they are farm bred-of course depends where you live though.

it's something that might or might not happen, i'm just letting you know so you can keep an eye open for any signs of it. Just feed the pleco well and make sure it gets some protein as well as the veggies, other than that theres nothing you can do but cross your fingers.
