Threads like this have been done to death I know, but I don't think anyone's made it into a poll before. Most people seem to view threads, but not reply. Maybe they just don't have anything to offer to the thread or heck could just be laziness I don't know what it is. However I think a poll is something everyone can contribute to and it's easy. So maybe this thread will have more success than others, heck enough success and maybe a moderator will take notice and make this a sticky!! Anyway The point of this thread is to track some of the more popular cats on MFK. I'm gonna put from what I can see are the more popular cats on the poll and if you got them or want them choose them. It'll give us an easier way to establish what's the most popular cat on MFK that no one will have to continuously monitor and update and make the thread that much more accurate. I'll still monitor it of course, but it'll be easier to maintain. I think this is a helpful tool seeing what cat is the most popular will help newer members make decisions on cats, let other members know who has the same cats as them making information about certain species easier to obtain. Plus seeing who has the same cat as you can pull some members together to share experiences. It is also a good tool for educating vendors on what cats we want. Mostly this thread is about finding the most poular monster though. If you view this thread please at least vote help us to determine the most popular cat. Anyone wishing to leave replies please do, tell us why your cat is the best. Also tell us what it takes to make them happy in an aquarium. Thanx to all who respond
 
it looks like you can vote for more then one fish are we supposed to if say you can't decide between two cats ?
 
Vote for as many cats as you want. We should still be able to see which cat is the most popular more people will simply vote for that cat. If you click on the count number you see who voted for that cat. Some people would choose for example the RTC and Lima then another might vote for a RTC and a Juruense. So the RTC still has 2 votes to the 1 for the Juruense and Lima. Logically not everyone will like the all the same fish, but true favorites will get more votes since favorites that are commonly shared will be chosen often. Like the RTC seems to be leading the pack and some who voted for the RTC voted for other cats as well, but simply more people have a common like of the RTC. To all those who participated already I give you a huge thanx. Hopefully more will participate though still more people viewed this thread than voted hopefully that will change. On another note I've kept South American Redtails, Asian Redtails, Gold Zebra Pim(Juruense), Redtail/Shovelnose Hybrids, Marbled Pims, Iridescent Sharks and Gulpers. I would be happy to answer any questions about these cats. If I can help answer a question I will. I've kept other cats that aren't on the pole that I'd be happy to answer questions about as well. I've kept Jello catfish(C.Apurensis), Common Woodcats, Bacu(Pterodoras Granulosus), Jaguar cats both Morrowi and Oncinus, Trachycorystes, Dorbignyi, Megalodoras Uranoscopus and Ompok Bimaculatus. While I'm not a authority on any of these fish I know a little about each and if I can help answer a question about them I will so feel free to ask.
 
What does aniridescent shark/tiger shovelnose hybrid even look like and hwere can I get one??? PM me if you know or have pics PLEASE?? I have never even heard of this.
 
Actually I only saw them on MFK. There are 2 threads with them in the thread and both threads have pics. One has updated photos too as the fish grew. Totally cool lookin fish and I myself have been dying to get my hands on one. I sent the thread writer a pm I believe saying I'd pay a good deal for one and he never responded. I aked him too keep an eye out in the LFS he got it from and I'd totally pay a nice chunk of change for it and pay for overnight shipping but got no response. I'll see if I can look up my old pm's to at least find the thread with the pics so you can drool over them like I did.
