18 inches on the width? Id say ixnay on the arboreals unless you want to flip that puppy upright. Terrestrial would be the way to go.

I have done it with other enclosures before, and if it will make a gecko happy then im willing

Can't go wrong with a with Pachydactylus species... or Thick-Toed Gecko if you can stand that upright.
