I bought some baby Red/Green Istlanum because I had to empty my tanks and start over
So far I like them a lot, very outgoing and fun to watch, and it looks like they're growing faster than I expected. To share the tank with them I got a group of 12 baby Synodontis Lucipinnis (Dwarf Petricola), but these have been a complete disappointment so far. I read they were very active at all times as long as they were in a big group (5+) but mine (all 12 of em) only come out to eat and go back to hiding immediately, I assume it's because they're still too small. Hopefully they will improve with time because they're very nice looking little catfish.
I was also planning to buy a Festae pair but now I put that on hold again because my 8" female started eating NLS in the pond, and the lymphocystis looks to have disappeared again, so I have good hopes for her. The Umbee looks like he's not sick at all and growing a lot too. If she finally gets some color I think I might just put her in a tank with her own equipment and nets to avoid getting any of my other fish sick. I've changed my view on this disease anyway and since I don't plan on selling any fish, I think I can live knowing she has it as long as she's not full of warts.

. They are pretty pricey though. Good thing he lives so close so shipping will not be that expensive. Really hoping for discounts.
