Christmas comes early for JD7.62!

I totally stole this M1 Garand! She is a beauty and was born in October 1943, very well could have seen action against the Axis forces in WWII and also in Korea.

There isnt anything too special about her but she came with a nice brand new stock ($100+ value) and for the price I couldnt turn her down!

She is simply a CMP field grade rifle with a mixture of parts. So, in this case, the new stock and even a repark would probably increase her value. She is a shooter more then anything. With the new stock set and a re-park Id expect $800 easily. Much more then I have in her!

I just field stripped her and damn Im too use to AKs. Its amazing how much more complicated American rifles are!

Great purchase! I need to get myself one of these. A buddy of mine just picked up 6 for a great deal. He's going to clean them up and resell them. I might have to buy one from him.
