CHRISTMAS FULU..

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have 6 Christmas fulu. They are extremely colorful, some more than others. They are on the endangered species list. As a matter of fact they are listed as Nearly Threatened, which means that they are almost extinct in the wild. (It's one step up from endangered and one step down from extinct) I have the fish as part of a preservation effort. It is not illegal to buy or sell certain fish on the endangered lists, so long as you register that you have them. This way if they do go extinct in the wild, people can get ahold of you. I won't have any broods for a while, but if you're still looking hit me up.

I also breed Christmas Fulu, as well as several other very rare Victorian Cichlids. Christmas Fulu are actually now extinct in Lake Victoria proper, but still exist in some of the surrounding water ways and smaller lakes which are inter connected. If anyone wants these I have about 100 fry currently available. Shipping is low, and they ship very well and are very hardy. PM me if interested. FYI, that original pic that sparked this thread is legit, and is of one of Dave Hansens males. My stock come from the same line.

the haplochromos sp. ruby green and sp.44 look similar
and quite common

Are you kidding me.....a sp.44 looking like a fulu? Dude, you need some serious glasses!

Why do you want victorians is my normal first queation. I only sell mine to people who actually have a tank set up for victorians only. I do have. Fulu's. For sale but please. Answer the question. Its very possible to hybreed these. Fish and that's very bad. With any fish but. More so with iucm red listed. Let's keep them pure.
