Yep, still have the bumblebee and he's off live. Though he's a pain about it. I have to literally drop the food(massivore) inches from his face. Though it could be because the lights are on when I feed. I know he patrols the tank when the lights are off and if he's really hungry.

thats a very nice collection, why are you breaking it up? the florida with the dashes instead of spots is particularly different

Thanx! If your referring to the one with the bent snout I'm not selling him just the smallest Gar. Recently I became hooked on SA/CA cichlids again and the tanks overstocked the way it is. For the benefit of the fish I'm trying to re-home them where they'll have more space. Actually wanted to try breeding Amphilophus Lyonsi and maybe ex 'Cichlasoma' Ornatum. So the stock needs to be lessened and redistributed in my tanks. :D

Pics of the 55 and stand?

Sorry recently moved it to storage so no pics. It's in good condition though and barely used it's about a year old. The stand is a regular metal stand.

What is the fish below the gars? Looks like a small mouth bass

That's my Siniperca Scherzeri just started eating massivore today so I might be taking him back for myself.

tried to send this in a PM not sure if it went to you....

thanks they look great. I am gauging interest in your Armatus as well. What are you feeding the Armatus and Gar at the moment? I know they are both hard fish to get off of live feeders. Also, what are you water parameters (pH/temp especially).

Please let me know I very interested in possibly picking up both this weekend.

Hey the top gar in the second pic, which type is that? A Florida also?

Madding;4709092; said:
Yes, they're all Floridas.

The top Gar is a Shortnose Gar and the best of the bunch. Very personable, easy to convert to pellets and growing like a weed. Started off smaller than my largest Florida and now has passed him by a inch in size.

Little Florida Gar is sold! 10 inch Florida also for sale $50 snout is bent, but has a interesting pattern.

How big is the Trachycorystes Trachycorystes?

The Trachy's are 10 inches maybe a little bigger real thick little buggers too. Off live and eating massivore, aro sticks and cichlid gold. The minute they smell food they come speeding out of their hides like bats out of heck. Lol! They have no problem surface feeding.
