I am typically sick to death of Christmas music by the time December rolls around, after hearing it since the day after Hallowe'en in some cases. My inner Grinch bubbles up and I spend the last couple weeks before the actual day simply suppressing the urge to choke the life out of the next jolly jerk who wishes me well.
This year, Covid has saved me from the horror of shopping with my wife, so I haven't OD'd on the stuff and can actually enjoy it. I recently heard some traditional Christmas tunes as rendered by a group called the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Amazing and beautiful, very dramatic; I loved it.
Merry Christmas to all!
