Dude, fins are pulled off these fish. I don;t think L pulled the fins off with tweasers the afternoon he received them. You DID NOT want to ship direct to me REMEMBER???? You said to get them from L.. so I just followed your intructions. I would rather have not driven 135 miles yesterday for torn up fish. It would have been easier for me to go to the airport.

And unless L is lying, which I don't have a reason to believe said all 6 where torn up. The fish were still in the bags, and I picked them up the same afternoon he received them. I'm not asking for money back for torn up perch. I just wanted to let you know. I figure this the risk in trusting the seller and buying without seeing them from your LFS :) So not sure why you have the attitude.. I only posted what I received Right? L didnt ship the perch to himself.

No, your not the reason. I live like an hour from the Airport and with the L.A traffic it's just too much stress. Also I have to take time off work and such so it makes it difficult. Just glad you got the fish. Member CYBR picked up one from me like a week or so ago. I was amazed at the growth rate and size it's gotten to date. I asked him to post a picture because I was really impressed. He has his solo in a 180 with constant feeders all day everyday.

These guys can eat..eat.. and eat...

Yeah but fish could have possibly gotten beat up in shipping. Just like when you goto a lfs and there's 10 good fish and two that got picked on. They still sell them all.

For what it's worth I didn't see the missing bottom fin pictured but the dorsel as it grows should straighten out and it should barely noticably by the time he's 2ft.. Going from own experiance of bending up my barra's dorsel a bunch..

Man can these guys eat:WHOA:. I also keep mine with non stop minnows and they plow them down their fat gulper stomach:D
I have had mine almost a week and I can see the growth and the gurth in these bad boys. Where were you with them earlier:D:D
Im digging these little champs. Ganna try to mix with my GATF or Armatus (which ever one of the 2 I decide to keep fo life (GATF/ARM))

I agree with this. The fins should sprout back to normal in time. I say try some salt for a few days other wise enjoy these Bad Arse fish:headbang2
