Awesome!! Glad to see that they got that big boy out on display finally!! Are the arapaima still in there? You got some really good pics considering how horrible that tank is to take pics of.

It has to be over 4k to hold all of those monster's. It looks like it's too small for what's in there.

Scott...you can see the arapaima in the 4th picture. You're right...the lighting in that tank was terrible pluis the damn TSN kept getting in the way. Those black pacu in there are friggin' huge...they do make the tank look small. The pinima IS unbelievably gorgeous...much better than the pix even.

The Cichla have to be pushing 28'' Pinima and the Tem is still young but I think 22''. The big male Dovii which I don't think he has any pictures of is 34''. The one in the pic is a Juvie and I think in the range of 16'' - 18''.

Just got back from seeing these guys myself. The temensis is within a couple of inches of the pinima for sure, I can't believe how fast that guy is growing. And you must have given your man at the zoo the cichla bug since the first tank now has two small mono's in it. On a sadder note, I think that big daddy dovii is pretty close to the end, his eyes are all clouded over and he just hangs in a corner near the surface of the tank. The juvi, who's definitely in the 16 to 18" range is roaming the tank in full color. I'll post some pics of everyone up in a bit.
