Word on the street is Japan has bred them in captivity... 5 years ago, no one could get their hands on them... now dozens of people have them here in the states. They will become more available in time!

that's good news, but are they breeding them in large numbers?

What is it about the Azuls that everyone is so crazy about them? I realize they are drastically different than any of the other pbass variants, but are they really that nice looking? I have never seen them in person, but none of the photos I have seen were that spectacular. Personally, I prefer the bright and gaudy colors of my monos to most of the Azuls I have seen pics of.

I've seen one in person, but it was very stressed out in the bag.

Supposely, they're blue in color, which makes them so attractive to the pbass collectors.
