Cichla brokopondo and intermedia growout thread

These are some of the F1 Brokopondo I purchased also from Wes they show vertical bars as well



This one is one of these two I loss the other Broko not to long ago I believe it’s the top fish on the bottom two pics. I went through a move and didn’t get progression pics

Definitely a unique maturation process with brokos compared to all other bass. With the white barring turning into spangling and the black breaking apart

Yeah definitely it’s my favorite peacock bass hands down next intermedia and kels. To me Brokopondo bass never fall victim to the ugly duckling look like kels and intermedia they just look pretty sweet through all the changes

I love Pinima intermedia and brokos once I move them to the 8x4 I need something to put in the 6x4 lol what would you suggest? Not really a big orino fan as it’s probably my least favorite, other than that it’s up in the air for me after having my top 3 already

Guyana Ocellaris or Pleizona’s, WC Guyana Ocellaris would pair up nicely with Broko’s if these ever come up again I will be forced to buy and make space
