Adult Brokopondo ocellaris are stunning. Very rarely do Cichla maintain such an array of spangles and auras around their black speckling as do these fish. As adults their spotting is reduced to a funky collection of black spots with gold auras around them. They are an alien Cichla to even the most experienced Cichla Geeks
If anyone is really serious about collecting peacock bass then they would be foolish to pass these up. Jeff has made them more than affordable, and at $100.00 each they are far cheaper then the first azuls or Xingu that I was able to offer to people. Oh, and his are three times the size as well. If I was not so heavy into pikes these days I would have bought them when they landed.....as many as he would have sold me. Yes, they are THAT NICE.
Buy them now or regret it forever....never know when more will come in. Lessons learned from many years of playing this game folks.
