Optimistic! With the condition of his eyes, he has hard time to see food/pellets, so he may not be able to see eggs...

Yeah I'm optimistic on this guy... I never really thought of him not being able to see the eggs but his eye on his left side is looking much better,(to the point where you'd have to look hard to see thats its kinda F'd up), and he definitely see's at least a little out of his right eyes because he reacts to me moving my finger up and down on the glass like I'm going to feed him when only that eye is facing the glass.

What do you think John?

By the way, sorry to derail this thread at all from this beautiful fish.

Some people consider him blind at that condition. However, he's not blind to me. His lenses are damaged. His right eye may be completely blind (the pupil was damaged), but he can still see from the left eye, but his vision is distorted. He properly sees your shadow, but not really sees your finger moving up and down. He may require some work during feeding time, but you'll be happy with him. One thing I notice fish with eye impaired looks really nice. Maybe they couldn't see the surround environment, thus, they're not too stress.

That's a brilliant idea! I'm sure you remember how nice was your big Kelberi, the one with one eye. All my Kelberi were sent to my buddy, so you may have to be your own stud LMAO!

JL who got all your kel? Craig? Ya that bling kelberi was a nice.
