Cichla...how much would u pay?

As of right now I'm only interested in getting a or couple of xingus if the price is reasonable. Thanks anyway!

Azuls-$200shipped for 10in(i got it from a mfk member for a steal! Thanks again cuban jey and snookn21)

My 2nd azul i paid $250 @ 12".
10" kelberi i paid $220
1" xingu-$300
2" lake diamante mono-$15ea

They are worth every penny!
I have a few more kelberi on my list and another xingu or 2....and thats it for now. Unless something crazy come up :)

Agreed. I would love a tem but right now I only have a 2ft wide tank not ready for a tem yet. When I upgrade I will be lookin for some though !

If my girl only knew...
She is starting to catch on a little tho.

I got one of the xingus outta the first batch to hit the US. It was $250 for the fish including the export fees outta germany. Then another $50 for shipping from FL to me. When this batch was imported there was no...to very little talk about it on the boards. If I had more $$ i would have gotten more. But as a cichla keeper if something is available...that you never see fs....grab it! You may regret it otherwise. Like back in the day when SA imported the "yellow cichla". Those were $35 and turned out to be some of the sexiest kelberi. SO now i just go for it.....if I have the $.



And if you girls are complaining about $200 xingus you need to start collecting smaller fish. Just wait till your cichla hit 15"+ and you have to feed em all the time.

My girlfriend went with me to Li's house. Watched me hand over $200 in cash to him. She loves the Orino now... haha.
