I never thought that they would turn out ocellaris. I have kept litarelly maybe 2-300 ocellaris in my time of raising and selling them. Never ever seen one grow up with golden dots all over his body. I am not guestioning all of your id's on the fish. but is it maybe posible that they are temensis x ocellaris hybrids?

The color on your ocell is just the juvi color/s. As isde02 stated, the three types of true ocells are Guyana, French Guiana and Brokopondo from Suriname.
