Cichla ID (in LFS)

anyone im suppose to pic these guys up in like two hours, want to know if theyre legit or the lfs is pulling a fast one on me.
Could def. be a Kelberi ...but they just don't look to me AT ALL like the Bahia's i've seen...just my opinion as there are far more experienced keepers on here than me. I'd get a few more opinions before spending the $$$. Could end up w a Stunner mono tho...Cichla vary so much (even within the same sp. and collection location) you just never know
if they are from the fish store on spring mountain road. called lucky's. then they are bahias. i was there back in feb and was staring at the kelb for atleast 20 mins just to see if they were really bahia's. all the markings seems like a bahia. anal fin spotting.

Yeah it's the same one. I was there the day he got them in at the owner said it was wild caught kelberis. I was really skeptic just because of how rare the WC kels have been therefore making this thread. These fish look Alot better in person. They are Almost definately bahias yet Alot different than the ones I have. Pretty interested to see how these look as they get bigger.
Yeah i snagged them this afternoon for $300. I have known about them since late january when i purchased revival's orinos from the lfs. Didnt really think about owning them till i saw this thread and then was constantly thinking about them over 4 days at work and decided i had to have them!
I'm w/ revival...gonna be interesting to see how these guys turn out. Sounds like u got Bahia tho...nice find, and no shipping..Haha can't beat that! Plump em up and get us some better pics!Chizzle;4984894; said:
