once u give them guppies, they might become picky and only eat live. And it'll be a pain to get them off live.
IMO you already have half the battle with them on blood worms. It'll be easier to get them onto pellets which is the BEST food for them, its cheaper, and easier than live, since the proper way to feed live is have a quarantined tank for the guppies so they don't transfer diseases to ur bass.
I've had great success converting fish from blood worms to pellets. I have yet to get my cichla from live to pellets. 4months to be exact. Exp if they're really stubborn.
Just thaw the blood worms in a cup and crush up some pellets and mix them with the blood worms. Once they're eating that well for a couple days. Increase the amount of pellets and decrease the amount of blood worms. Once they're.good with that. Try just dropping pellets in and see if they take it. If they don't. Go back to your blood worm mixture.

Yes but his r little 1 inch babies yours r adults it's easier when they r babies and yes j agree with blood worms but that alone is not a staple diet and striving babies at this size to get them on pellets stunts there growth

I had my last O's go from bw to carni sticks in less than a week and never fed live. The growth was awesome. They were 1 1/2".

good luck. Im giving mine shrimp and bloodworms. I stick carni-sticks in the shrimp, sometimes they eat them sometimes they spit them out. but the smaller bass go crazy for the bloodworms while the bigger ones mash on the shrimp.
Before I messed with feeders I made sure to train my baby monos to eat bloodworm. Once they were trained, I give them feeder guppies a few times a month, they have no problem eating both. Also I raise my own feeders so no disease

only safe way to feed them feeders imo.Alright thx guys. I went down to san fran and got so market shrimp for super cheap and cut it up in lil peices. They went after it and spit it out. Gaa hate the feeling. But might tryto cut up the food sticks and stick them in the shrimp.
