Look how much more of a deep red his has though. His are also hardly 3-4" long.

Point well takin. But I do have pic's of them smaller then 3'' with this much red and also with my mono's showing there gold in there tail's. My personal favorite is to just wait and see what we get.
 
I think there still too small to tell, could be either mono or ocell..
 
Also, his even shows deep red while just put into the tank/in the bag. I agree it could be occel, but I sway more monoculus.
