I have a 7" pbass and was just wondering if I would be able to put him in my granddad's pond after he outgrows my tank? It gets cold here in the winter time though.... like below freezing cold:eek:

absolutely not... they will die right away

Still it will freeze over so the teperature will fall well below 72o and that would be death for sure as 74o would be terrorable for them. So I would say no I wouldn't try it with mine.

In a perfect world this would be awesome, because I would seriously love to get a massive breeding population in my mother-in-laws lake. Unfortunatly, northeast Pennsylvania winters blow :( :(

I plan on doing this next summer in a small pond that i usually put my jewel cichlids in. The jewels breed like crazy and are a pain to catch in the fall. But first i need some pbass
