how much do these run for? would anyone be interested in buying some, i think i can get my hands on a couple.

they run from 150 and up.... i want one so bad but i dont have enough mula for that much.. if it was like 80-100 i could. How big are the oens u might get?

Call me skeptical but I'm with fishrmann2.

I doubt this fish will be offered for sale anytime soon in the US, it comes from a very remote area in Venezuela. As of right now, there are no fish being shipped out of VZ. Most of the "Venezuelan" fish that are offered for sale come from Columbia. IMO, anyone who says that they can get this fish is probably just telling you what you want to hear. Even if it was available, the freight alone would probably be more than any price that has been mentioned.

I agree. It's my understanding that there are none in the U.S. and none are coming it. I would love to get my hands on some, they are at tje top of my list and the only cichla I could probably ever house properly.

I know some pilots that go to S. America and occasionally Venezuela. Wonder if I could get a large container of water and have him pick up some next time he rolls out???? Would need to get a supplier lined up in advance though.
