The cichla u catch will more than likely be already half grown. If u r doing it with rod n reel expect 8" to 16" fish commmonly. Cant let all the secrets go do a little research. Its simple to find

well I will take 3 of the largest wild caught monos you have maybe 4 if the price is right, should be pretty cheap nobody wants wc monos but me..and I can pick them up the day you return....pm me and i will give you my cell #

the airport lakes off blue lagoon dr. are awesome but, you need a canoe or you will be asked to leave by security. (they can't kick you out in in water only on shore) C-4 tamiami is good but alot of the best spots are bordered by houses so better by boat.. the lakes off the dolphin expressway are productive just pull of into grass.. I have some other great spots so just PM me if you want.. btw.. there were several 4-6" ocel and mono in the airport lakes from the late spawners last week. tiny hook and live minnows do the trick..
