Cichla Ocellaris, anyone know anyhting?

Hi kida, no rudeness taken, i see it all time on here with replys and i have seen worse comments LOL, not that there wasything wrong with yours mate.
The rays i have are motoros and both around the 7 inch disc, the cat is 9 inch now.

Sweet so your still got a lot of growth with both of them as well. Would love to see pics of them. Did you have any success on obtaining any Cichla yet? I am not sure how expensive shipping from our shores to your shores would be but I know Jeff Rapp's alway's has excellent Cichla stock. You should check out his site if it is worth it to you. He has some new sp of Cichla in right now "Rio Crusian Orino". It may be a better for you to look at some of the stores in Japan or Singapore less cost on the shipping im sure. But of course I don't know for sure.

Hi kida, well what a git he was, the chap selliong the Ocellaris has sold them all, i spoke to him last night as i have something else i need picking up not far from him and i called him to arrange a time for this saturday to collect them so i can do both collection at the same time, he said he has sold them all and by time i get there they will all be gone, god knows why he didnt keep them to one side for me
, he said he will still have the temnsis in a few week but now he has done that i dont like to deal with them folk.I have has no luck with any others yet, nobody is getting them in, p[lenty of man made breeds but then they are to small and nothing like the Ocellaris ot Orinoco

Heres Aro`arnie, he is a bit bigger now at 9 inch, getting some cracking markings, i keep filling him different colour enhacing pellets and meal worm to get them out, hope he doesnt loose them.
The 3 stoogys, had since they were less than 2 inch, near 4 inch now

This Bob my TSNxRT, this is a few weeks old so he is a bit bigger now, i do spoil them all, growing fast all of them it seems

Well what can i say, the chap that was selling the Cihlid called me and said a customer had decided against them and there were 4 for sale now.
Luckly enough i was passing not far from him and popped in earlyer today and had a look at them, now on the phone they were 4 inch long, more like 4 cm. I wasnt going to bother as they are so small but then i thought heck why not, i can sort another tank so they dont become cat food.
Bit of a problem there though as i have no spare tank now as my spare tank cracked so i had to make do with a fish box in the main tank, i added some holes for circulation and cut one side off so i can see how they are doing.
I only had 2 of them as he is going to get some temensis in soon so i am thinking of getting 2 of them.

Yeah your right orino are hard to get over here i have 3 myself i did have a forth but it just died 1 night out of nowhere i was propa gutted it was the male and was a stunner but just have to soldier on. the orino are worth paying £300 for id pay it if i saw them for sale, iv picked me up some mono today and i have a tem and yeah they are big fish and a little bit more nasty IMO iv also had a few little babies aswel just have to waterchange loads and they will grow well.

nice fish does anyone here own an ocelle im about to get a 12" one and wanted to see what it looks like before i but it?
