i agree.
theyre not actually aggressive and cant really do much.
but my tem at around 4 inches is quite an aggro.
he flares up at the channa and sometimes theyll fight.
usually the tem wins.
 
Oh I didn't mean to imply that they wouldn't fuss....they ARE cichlids after all...I just ment that they restrict themselves to postering and pushing with little if any real damage done to either party. About the worst we've ran into was when one of them chased another into a castle ornament....
 
Thanks for the info lads, but have done a u-turn.. Gonna try and get some large mouth bass for the pond outside instead... Can't stand the thought of getting the p-bass and when there reaching there peak, having to get rid of them...

If I ever move house and can have a bigger tank inside I'll deffo be getting some, but for now i'll just be admiring everyone else's on here..
