Just heard about that as well. I did a Google search and this looks to very close to the Rio Meta, so it should give you an idea of what they may end up looking like
Are the google shots accurate though?
I like the Rio Meta orinos, heck, I like any orino! I'll be trying to pick up some if they aren't too much! Sound cool anyway!

Very cool! Thanks ya! So its very possible they might be entirely different. I know that several species of Crenicichla that are collected from the same river system in different areas can show different coloration still.

Yeah, very possible. Orinos are the one cichla that show the most variation. Well if you think about it monos are very diverse aswell. Metas and Negros are both amazing orinos, almost all orinos from that region and last year or twos import (in my opinon) look like stunner orinos. I really want to see some of those 4 blotch Orinos. Those pictures you showed us in your thread are to die/kill for. haha.
