Cichla Orinocensis vs. Cichla Pinima Help!

my orino was the same way. it even killed an ocel. after a while of dividing it, i decided to try it again. it still picks on the others some, but it hasn't really hurt anything
I have had to keep my Orinos seperated perminantly until they reach a size that I have to mix them. It sound like you are going to need a divider for sure.
thats wierd... my ocells dominate my orinos and 1 is only bigger by 3 inches the other is the same size... but my orinos get the crap beat outa them on a regular basis.. i never could stop it
hmm well right now...it seemed to attack it too much now...still going at it tho but like once every time the pinima looks at the orino...I guess the orino thought it was Muggin it? Lol This Orino is Gangsta...hahaha my pinima is hanging in their and being nice....but he's actually eating...usually I would see a fish get beaten and not want to eat on the aftermath. I will need to get dithers tomorrow quick
Definitely get a divider.
I don't think dither fish(barbs, silver$, etc.) are going to help much. You need "target" fish, fish that the orino will see as direct competition, i.e. more Cichla(which by the way are cichlids, refering to an earlier post) or other openwater cichlids.
