Cichla Orinocensis

Thinking about getting some new growouts cichla orinocensis from Rio Meta, Just wondering if anyone has any pics of these guys full grown in your tank? Thanks for the help!

Wow, do cichla get lighter when there is better lighting and more plant cover?
Also, Here is my 7 incher, I will have some updates sunday. He has begun to have more spangles than a salvador temensis.

i ended up selling all my rio meta grow outs except for one. this guy has the round markings, while all other ive seen have diamonds. should be interesting to see what this guy turns into

Some of those rio metas are stunners! Outta 4 I got 2 real nice ones. I'd pick some up if I were you. Infinite is outta them and so is snookn....I bet rapps wont have his too much longer.

yeah once these are gone who knows how long it will be until another batch pops up. i think it had been a few years since orinos were available at small sizes and large quantities.

yes go and buy all of rapps rio meta! Then he can start to get in new orinos from a different part of the river!

a few of my orinos are getting the rounded markings and jet black fins. Also, they are becoming little demons. I will try to get an update and a feeding video up soon.
