how about to catch it wild at Tocantins river and bring in to your own tank, i think thats more fun than spend much more money

There was a small batch of 3" Azuls that came in last month that sold for $125 a piece.
I was also told by a vendor on here that he might be getting some soon...
They are definitely becoming more rare and IMO are the best looking out of the bunch. Very unique compared to all other cichlas.

This is very interesting. I own an Azul he is 12'' estimate. I am in the USA and I would buy more starting @ 4'' $150.00 - 8'' $300.00 or some where in that range of size and price.
Well I have a 6inch Azul for $200.. unfortunately pick up only and located in Washington D.C, eats everything MP, krills, etc.
6"!?! that's a tiny bugger. didn't know there were small guys like that around. i know a lot of people looking for azuls that size. I sold a bunch of 14"-16"ers...and i miss them. tanks so empty.
