Cichla pinima for R1

Rio Tocantins and its tributaries as well. Some say lower Xingu, also...but I am sure mine are all Tapajos or Tocantins. I only got one load of pinima from the Xingu, and it was years ago.....they all died from chronic ICK.

How was the temperament with your Pinima's? I noticed they are a leave me alone type of attitude vs all my other PEAS.

The one I have is still too small to flex his presence in my tank because BIG Blue will check his arse..LOL...

I spoke to DonH about the one he had from back when and he said it was a mean as SOB. Even the one PTC has you can see the attitude. While all his Pbass somewhat cruise around in one area the Pinima is cruising by itself not wanting to do associate itself with the group.

Really curious how the ones from Rapps will turn out. I hope they will get along with the current Pinima I have.

Pinimas killed my azul that I sold to Mike from h20...Temensis are aggressive IMO but not as orino's but I think a pack of Pinimas would kill.....

My Pinima are the Bullies in my tank. Especially the female. I feel bad for my Ocell. They catch hell everyday. The male is the enforcer but the female she just dosen't stop.
