i think how it works is..

you guys contact jeff, pay him for the fish and let him know you are in the socal group buy. (better hurry before they are all gone)

and when all the fish arrive at the airport we split the cost of shipping and pay craig for it(if he is organizing this)

IMO.... NO...
its better if we pay craig.... if craig is the organizer.... and the chain will go on.... reason: someone will get hung out to dry... if we follow you suggestion!

but someone needs to step up and organize... if we are going to get a chance @ this.... if all fails and no one is going to step up by tonight... i will take on the task...

Why not each one email/pay jeff and each person who buys from socal and wants to split shipping say "Hold these til tommorrow for shipping.. we are going to split shipping with other people who ordered from socal" Then someone step up and pay shipping and then split it x amount of ways.

I realize you need to find out who's name these will be shipped in but jeff will hold fish for a day or two if they are paid for..

Seems you could go about it an easier way. If everyone waits for someone else to pay first then they will be gone before you get a chance to pay. It's your guys deal just my thoughts. Xazn I think has the easier way though. Everyone pays/knows they got fish and then figure out shipping later.

your telling me.... no one wants to step up and confirm they are the ORGANIZER.... thats why i stated earlier that i cant take on the responsibility... but it seems that i will have too... or go in on my own!!!
