CICHLA PIQUITI aka "AZUL"

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yo lurker, if you read this and have azuls available, can you pm me? I've been looking for some for a LONG time. thanks :)

very nice

Fish and photos are both awesome, but I do not understand what people see in Azuls. They are the plainest looking cichla to me. I prefer the more vibrant ones with lots of green.

you mean orinos? Just check out R1's avatar or dieselmack's old threads. A full grown azul is a sight to behold. The deep blue fins, greyish body and bold triangle strips make it simply breathtaking

Pbass has something to offer for everyone. To me what's impressive about an Azul is not the color. You put a 12-15" Azul next to another PBASS and the Azuls shape, girth, just the mere size comparison is awesome. Something pictures cannot capture. I prefer the Yellow & Greens as well. Orino's are highly underrated. At one point they were sought after like Azuls, Intermedias, Kelberi's..etc.. But since having been farmed raised it's a dime a dozen these days. One day I'm sure once the others will eventually be farmed and be available. Will it be next year, who knows. Could be years & years down the road.
