yeah 36 when you buy 50 or better and go through the pain in the ass to get them to the US.

its just like the cost of gas in the middle east is soo much cheaper than here


you can't expect to pay 36 dollars for these cichla if your not buying a ****load come on brother you know that lol

its not being cracked out bro... its called being a RARE sp. thats hard to get, as you can see this thread is now a fairytale... and if people/hobbyist really want that fish... they would pay watever to get it in theyre tanks... you also have to remember shipping and fee's on top of what the fish is being sold for... if you think 300hundo is bad... there is a member on here that tryed to sell a mature azul for 900$ and i believe it was sold!! so once again not being cracked out its called a TRUE HOBBYIST that will do whatever it takes...

its simple economics. the market sets the price, not the seller. if the price is inreasonable, the seller will have to lower the price until it sells. but since were dealing with somthing that has high demand and very limited supply, the price will be high. very high.

only those that are willing to pay any dollar amount will get these fish
 
im not saying they will go for 36 wise ***. but i am saying jacking it up 10x is a bit much for a 2 incher. 75-100 would be a reasonable markup is what i am saying.
