Cichla Pond

My cichla was in a ten gallon grow out since May and I moved them into my 1600 gallon pond outside which has been running since last year. So I don't understand the 24 hours to cycle??????

if ur pond has been running for a year it should be cycled. check ur water params first.

you didnt need to put them in the pond just yet, it takes around 24 hours to cycle a freshwater tank!
